Garden Party 2005 Report

“Glorious weather, an excellent venue and an attendance of 130 supporters, contributed to one of our best ever Garden Parties.

Many thanks to all concerned, especially Doctor Ian Mungall, who opened the Garden Party, Jean Moore who loaned her wonderful garden at Alwalton, Peterborough and to all the generous supporters that helped raise over £2,500 for HEAL.

Visitors came from as far as Wakefield, Newcastle upon Tyne and Stoke on Trent and everyone had the opportunity to enjoy either a range of Indian dishes or a traditional English Buffet.

It will be a difficult act to beat in 2006, but we will do our best.

New Playground funded by the generosity of the Scottish Group

Playground Area and Equipment for Children Funded by Scottish Group who Raised £1,200

IN SCOTLAND Our Scottish Group has been busy fund raising. They raised a superb amount of £1,250. This has provided playground equipment in the Children’s Village. MANY THANKS FOR THE HARD WORK!!

Heal expands with establishment of Heal USA

Dr Prasad has been busily working on setting up a US arm to the Heal organisation, and we can now confirm the establishment of Heal USA.

This new organisation will work alongside Heal UK with fundraising.
