Gowtham Educational Institute, Bhadrachalam
Heal has recently agreed to support 200 children at this school in Bhadrachalam under its Poverty Trap project.
We will be funding school fees, books, teachers, uniforms and stationary for children in a poor area of Andhra Pradesh. Heal are committed to helping as many children from poor families who cannot afford school fees to gain access to education and help future generation escape the cycle of poverty.
The school is one of 52 educational facilities in Andhra Pradesh run by the Gowtham Educational Institute, and Heal's association with this school will begin in June 2009.
